ISG Baseball & Softball is dedicated to advancing baseball and softball worldwide through coaching education, coach development, player development, and international coaching clinics. Our partners and sponsors play a critical role in making these educational programs possible across multiple continents.
The mission of ISG Baseball & Softball is to educate coaches worldwide so that the game can continue to grow. Good coaching is the foundation of every successful baseball and softball program. Skilled coaches make the game more enjoyable for players, helping to attract and retain participants while creating future generations of coaches and leaders. As coaching standards improve, the game continues to flourish around the world.
ISG Baseball & Softball is one of the few independent organizations dedicated exclusively to coaching education without ties to any single national federation or baseball organization. Each year, hundreds of coaches worldwide are exposed to cutting-edge baseball and softball instruction through ISG's international coaching clinics. In the process, these coaches also learn about our sponsors' products and services and share that knowledge with their clubs, leagues, and players.
Education, however, is not inexpensive. ISG Baseball & Softball, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is supported entirely through sponsorships and the federations that host each clinic. ISG provides transportation costs and honorariums for the clinic teams, typically consisting of three experienced coaches, while partner federations cover local transportation, accommodations, and meals.

California Community College Baseball Coaches Join Forces with ISG
Over the last decade, ISG has formed many partnerships with like-minded organizations who see the value in spreading good coaching techniques around the globe. The latest collaborator with ISG is the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association which counts 350 members in its organization coming from 85 separate two-year campuses covering the Golden State. As a partner, the organization will provide up to two of its members to function as presenters at ISG clinics in Europe and Asia.
The CCCBCA works primarily to recognize outstanding achievements for the players and coaches at member schools. It sponsors more than a dozen awards including choosing members for its Hall of Fame each year.
Over the years many of its members have distinguished themselves nationally and internationally being honored with inclusion on USA Baseball coaching staffs and as speakers on the main stage at the annual ABCA Convention. Several California JUCO coaches have been featured instructors at previous ISG clinics including Don Sneddon, Andy McKay, Jerry Weinstein, and current ISG Board Member, Pat Doyle.
